FAQs

A conventional portable concrete mixer has to be positioned next to the pour and fed by hand. The T500 is tracked, so one machine loads, mixes, travels, and discharges at the formwork. On a site where the ready-mix truck cannot reach, that removes the wheelbarrow stage entirely.

Drum capacity is 0.145 m3 with a 200 kg maximum load. That is sized for footings, post bases, repair pours, and small slabs, not for a continuous structural pour.

It is rated to a 20-degree climbing angle on rubber tracks, and the 800 mm overall width passes gates and side passages that a towed mixer cannot. Confirm the gradient loaded rather than empty when the pour is uphill.

It depends on distance from the material stockpile to the pour. Under about ten metres a drum mixer plus a wheelbarrow is cheaper. Beyond that the labour saved on every batch usually pays for the machine within a season for a working contractor.

Dealers already selling mini dumpers and compact loaders, because the same contractor buying a dumper for material movement is frequently mixing on site as well. The categories share one buyer, which is why they quote together.

Typical batch size, distance from stockpile to pour, ground conditions and gradient, jobsite access width, quantity, and whether the unit is for resale or project work.
